Need help with Sentience as a Service? The fastest way to reach a human (not PAL) is by email:
How do I restore a purchase I already made?
Open the in-game Store or Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Your Enterprise License and any skins will be re-applied to the Apple ID that bought them. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID, so they follow you to new devices.
How do I remove ads?
Buy the Enterprise License (a one-time purchase) in the Store. Ads in this game are always optional and reward-based — the License simply grants those rewards directly, so you never need to watch one.
Where is my progress saved? I switched devices and it's gone.
Game progress (your iterations, unlocks, and streaks) is saved locally on your device. It is not yet synced to the cloud, so reinstalling or moving to a new device starts you fresh. Purchases, however, always restore via Restore Purchases (above).
How do I reset my progress?
Open Settings → Reset All Progress. This wipes local progress but keeps your purchases (recover them with Restore Purchases).
I watched an ad but didn't get the reward.
Rewards are granted when an ad finishes. If an ad fails to load or is interrupted, the game grants the reward anyway or lets you try again — you should never be stuck. If you are, email us.
Is the game free?
Yes. All core gameplay is free. Optional purchases (Compute packs, the ad-removing Enterprise License, and cosmetic skins) support development and never gate the game behind a paywall.
This policy explains what information Sentience as a Service (“the app”, “we”) handles and why. We built the app to collect as little as possible. We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, or photos, and the app has no account or login.
Your game progress, settings, and which purchases you own are stored locally on your device. This data stays on your phone and is not transmitted to us.
To sell purchases, show optional ads, and understand how the game is used, the app relies on a few reputable third-party providers. Each has its own privacy policy:
Before any tracking for personalized advertising, the app shows Apple's standard permission prompt. If you decline, the app works exactly the same — you'll simply see non-personalized ads. You can change this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will address it.
Because the app stores game data locally, that data lives only on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Data handled by the third parties above is retained under their respective policies.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
